FB's 25 Random Things....

I posted this tonight on my Facebook page because a couple of friends wrote a similar list and tagged me, and I thought what the heck- I'll post it here too. If you are a regular reader of this blog then you already know these things, but here they are again..........


1. I still think Ben is out of my league, but boy am I glad he doesn't think so :)
2. I’m annoyed with people who brag about money or possessions.
3. Blood makes me faint.
4. I wish I could adopt every stray animal I see. Ben has to remind me that I can’t.
5. I am an organized person in general, but especially with our money.
6. I’m lucky because both the family I was born into and the family I married into are made up of the most loving, genuinely kind-hearted people I have ever met.
7. I try to apply the philosophies “everything happens for a reason” and “if you’re not part of the solution then you’re part of the problem” to my everyday life.
8. I think quite a bit less of people who do not spay/ neuter their pets.
9. I have no athletic ability, but I’m okay with it.
10. Nothing smells as good to me as a gardenia.
11. I haven't eaten pork or beef since mid-May '08, and I'd be happy to never eat either again.
12. I love going to watch a really good band.
13. My biggest pet peeve is people who argue about something they know nothing about.
14. I love cooking and have always wanted to take a class.
15. For some reason, it’s really easy for me to memorize song lyrics.
16. I tried sweet potatoes for the first time 2 weeks ago…. I won’t be doing that again.
17. I think rodeos, zoos, horse races, and dog races are cruel.
18. It only takes one drink for me to become tipsy.
19. I am so proud of my ability to find good bargains!
20. I think people who smoke cigarettes smell disgusting (even when they aren’t actually smoking at the moment) so I try to hold my breath around them.
21. I hated Hattiesburg when I was in college, but I love it here now.
22. I've never eaten shrimp or crawfish because I can’t stand their smell.
23. As far as Ben and I are concerned, our dogs are our children.
24. I am so afraid of sharks that I won’t go past knee-depth in the ocean.
25. Sometimes when Ben wakes me up, I freak out and kick him.
