Merry Christmas!

Our first Christmas as parents was so wonderful. It is so much more fun to have a child during Christmas! I would much rather watch Reid open gifts than open any of my own.
Reid must have been on the "good" list because Santa really spoiled him :)
We hope all of our friends and family had a great Christmas!

Thanksgiving At Our House

My mom and grandmother
Me with one of my younger sisters
Our 3 dogs & my sister's dog sitting still in hopes of getting some turkey :)
My little brother and my son Reid
My husband Ben and our son Reid
Me and my daddy Me and my little angel!

The third annual Thanksgiving lunch at our house went well! We had 32 people total and it was joyous chaos. We only see most of them once a year on Thanksgiving, so I always try to be sure to stop and talk to every single person while also trying to make sure everything in the house is ready. Ben and my dad fried a turkey this year and it was so delicious and moist... I will never roast a turkey again! We cooked the two turkeys, mashed potatoes, rolls, and baked enchilada dip w/ wheat thins. Everything else was provided by our guests for a "potluck style" lunch. This year was easy to organize who-brings-what because I utilized the mass email capabilities of Facebook! :) This was Reid's 1st Thanksgiving and he had a great time. I have such cute pictures of him in his "Thankful for Mommy" shirt and videos of him chasing guests in his walker.
